Got a call from this customer on Sunday. He had rang a so called local tuner to remap his car, the guy came from Bolton, unfortunately this guy came along with very poor cheap nasty equipment. By the end of it the customer was left with an non starting car and an ecu with a corrupt file loaded onto it.
V.I.S went out to it, attempted to load a file via the OBD port but unfortunately the other “tuner” had done too much damage. No problem though, we remove the ecu, opened it up, removed/cleared/reattached the chip and then loaded a good remap file.
Went back to customer today and he was very happy when the car started. We ran a diagnostic check on the car and then took it for a quick spin.
Finally the customer had what he wanted. A car with a very good remap giving his 2.5TDi V6 engine a nice boost. God knows where the tuner from Bolton got his file from and his equipment from, Cornflake box maybe!!!
This BMW 320d came in on Saturday morning, gloss black roof wrap and a remap too. Turned it around in just over 2 hours and the car looked and went great!!
Interested in getting your car done, a remap, roof wrap or maybe a full wrap? Give us a call and see what we can do for you.
Customer turned up today with a nice Golf GT Tdi, nice clean 54plate with low mileage.
Owner wanted it tweaking a little as he missed his old car, a 225bhp Audi TT. This car will give his old one a run for its money now!!!
Fancy having your car remapped? Prices are at an all time low of only £160 for an OBD remap.

Remapped another van today, sorry no pics it was getting too dark!!!
56plate VW T5 1.9TDi with a standard 104bhp, after a little bit of tweaking it was given a nice little boost of
30bhp and 50NM torque.
That should help it go a bit quicker!!
