At VIS Tuning we custom ecu remap every vehicle we work on. We never use any generic off the shelf files or files that we have previuosly used on another similar vehicle. All ecu maps provided are made to suit your requirements and all the original data within the ECU such as VIN, hardware and software numbers remain the same. Not only do we specialise in ECU remapping we can also offer speed limit removal and DPF removal.

We can offer various stages of remap such as-

Turbo Diesels, power files give up to 30% increase in bhp & torque and will improve mpg on motorways. Economy files will give approximately 15% increases. Although these figures for mpg really do depend how you drive!!

Petrol turbo, these don’t give quite the same increases as the TDi’s. power maps usually give a 25% increase and economy files around 10%

Normally aspirated, you dont get a huge increase in power on these vehicles, usually between 7-10%, depending on engine size. Although this doesn’t mean they’re not worth doing. There’s many more improvements made to all cars with an ECU remap. As well as the bhp, torque and mpg we remove the flay spots in the engine and improve throttle response. Overall it makes driving much more enjoyable.

We can also supply postal ECU remapping, if you can’t make it to us or maybe the car is off the road anyway we can turnaround the ecu within a day usually and get it sent back to you by special delivery.
Also, if you’ve had a poor ecu remap done on your car and you’ve been left with a non starting car don’t worry, give us a call. We can either come to you to rectify it or you can post us the ecu.
